A bridal shower is one of the most memorable days for a bride-to-be, and also one of the most enjoyable parts of theme party planning for the hostess. It is not just the gifts, but the magic of the possibilities that lay before her. There are ways to make this day even more special for the guest of honor.

One way to make the party event special is to have it in a theme of a vintage tea party. Women have loved tea parties since their childhood make-believe days. A tea party bridal shower sets the mood for magical moments to begin for the bride.

You can either hold the party at an official tea room or make the event unique by asking your guests to bring a vintage teacup and saucer to the bridal shower no matter where it is being held. If guests do not bring a teacup, the hostess will provide one for them. It is important to have extra cups and saucers as back up just in case someone forgets to bring one.

Your guests can even be encouraged to dress the part of a tea party by wearing gloves, or by donning a boa or hat for the party. Old-fashioned gloves are also great tea party apparel for a party such as this. How often do women get to wear formal gloves anymore? Be sure to dress your bride in vintage apparel fit for the occasion to signify her as the guest of honor.

Food for a bridal tea party can be within the same theme party planning for the occasion by serving finger sandwiches, petit fours, and even soup or salad. Quiche is often a good choice for tea party event food as well.

Giving your bride-to-be a teapot as a gift is always a special touch and will continue to serve as a reminder of this most magical event for her for a lifetime. Other gifts for the party can be related to the theme such as tea bags, tea tins, tea warmers, cups, etc. The vintage cup that each member brought to the party can also be given to the bride as a memento of this memorable occasion.

Both the preparation and throwing the bridal tea party can be thrilling and unforgettable for you and the bride-to-be.

Hosting a party outside is the new trend these days. Internet provides ample opportunities to party hosts when it comes to finding out companies that provide Equipment For Hire for such parties. There are many more things worth considering when it comes to organizing an outdoor party.

The very first thing you should do is to look for a Chair Hire company. You can get designer bean bag furniture for a comfortable sitting or go for a super stylish chair or sofa set. There is a huge variety of furniture available in different appearance and design that will make the area look more beautiful & photogenic too.

The next thing is to decide the type of overhead coverage you want. Marquee has always been a preferred choice of party organizers. It is always good to have some sort of coverage for the party but covering it totally is something not recommended. If you cannot see the sun, stars or nature, what is the point in organizing an outdoor party. Look out for different alternatives for covering the overhead and make sure that the installation is done prior to the party day as it is a time consuming thing.

Supposedly, you are organizing the outdoor party in winters. It is essential to contact a heater hire company. Gas heaters are a waste these days because they are expensive and not at all environment friendly. Go for a fire put as they will be situated at the level of your chairs and the low level heat will be more intense.

It is always better to contact a company that gives Table Hire, chair and all the other equipment so that you don’t have to roam everywhere for arrangements. Moreover, you might get a good deal if you will take all these things from a single source.

Stag party is known with different names in different countries. For example, in Ireland and New Zealand, it is known as bachelor party; in South Africa, it is known as bull’s party; in Australia, it is known as a buck’s party or buck’s night, etc.

This kind of party is organized to enjoy the last opportunity of a man to indulge in activities, which the new partner would not otherwise approve of. Generally, a sibling of the would-be groom is responsible to organize this party, otherwise a close friend or the best man organizes this party.

This event can be organized either for a day or a night or for a weekend. Stag parties involve activities beyond one’s imagination; they can be very wild and unusual, and can be very funny too. They are unlike any social gathering. Generally, these parties involve activities like strip dinner, boozing, lap dancing, casino, comedy programmes, horse racing, greyhound racing, etc.

The concept behind all these activities is to enjoy and try each and everything which a bachelor can do, unlike a married man. All the friends of the would-be groom give him this party as a surprise; he is not informed of this party earlier.

There are many companies which especially provide services for this kind of party. They have their different packages and offers. If your friend or sibling is getting married, and you want to give him surprise bachelor party, then you can take services from these companies.

You can also plan the party on your own. You just need a pre-planning and a list of events, which you can afford to organize. Either you can go in a pub for drinking, and after that for dinner, and then can end in night club or you can also invite a stripper at the venue of the party and can arrange drinking and all there itself.

The holidays are the perfect time to host a party. Everyone is already in a partying spirit and the theme is already chosen. To make it a unique party, put a spin on the traditional and you will have a party people will be talking about for a long time.

Holiday party planning may take a little more thought and planning than parties held at other times of year. Why is a little more effort needed? The reason is that during the holidays, people’s schedules begin to fill up with other parties or special events. If you decide to host a party at the last minute, you may find all your potential guests have other obligations and are unable to attend. And you don’t want your party to be just “another” party, do you? You want people to really enjoy themselves and even look forward to your next one. With a little extra thought, your party can be a little different, something unique, that will make your party the hit of the season.

Making your party stand out among all the others is not too hard to do. It could be something as simple as a special invitation. With all the scrapbooking supplies now available, it is easy to make your own. You probably even have most, if not all, the materials you need at home. Thanksgiving cards could be cut in the shape of autumn leaves or if you feel adventurous, buy preserved fall leaves at the craft store and write directly on them. Craft stores are brimming with ideas, no matter what the season. Stroll through one and look for ideas. It is sure to spark your imagination.

Decorate your party with something a little unusual or different. At Christmas there is usually a tree at every party. What about making a special, smaller version, with pictures of each one of the guests in a silver frame? These could double as party favors too! For a table try wrapping packages about 2″ x 1″ with metallic paper and suspend from a pair of candelabra with holiday ribbon. Set one candle holder at each end of the table and arrange a band of holly from one to the other.

Of course, during the holidays, people love to eat. Make some tried and true recipes but throw in a new or unusual one or two. Just be sure there is plenty. Nothing puts an end to a party faster than running out of food or drinks. Have a few unexpected items, too. For example, take a number of walnuts (how many is up to you), carefully crack them open take a piece of paper and write a fortune or funny saying on it, place it in one side of the walnut shell, carefully glue the two sides back together and hide a few of these in with a bowl of unshelled walnuts. It will be a surprise when a guest opens one and find a note inside instead of nutmeat. Or, have a bowl of prepared walnuts like these handy and have everyone take one and read their “fortune” out loud. The funnier the fortunes, the better.

Plan a carnival party for your next event. Whether it is a kid’s birthday, a fundraiser for an organization you are involved in, or a get together with friends, a carnival party provides good food, good entertainment, and plenty of fun!

Here are some ideas to help you along the way.

Games; Games make the party have a true carnival feel. They provide laughs, friendly competition, and fun for all. Decide on your game selections depending on the type of guests. If you are entertaining young children, the games should be at their level. If you are hosting a party for adults, be sure to have games that will challenge them. These can be rented or self designed. The games should have ticket winnings that everyone can cash in at the end for a prize.

Ideas Include:

Bobbing for Apples- Float apples in water, blindfold the contestant, and have them bob for however many they can pick up with their mouth in a minute time.

Hoopla Game- Line up plastic or wooden bottles in a pattern and see how many wooden rings contestants can get around the bottles.

Fish Game- Have a bunch of cardboard fish with a metal paperclip glued to them in a waterless baby pool. Blindfold contestants and give them a small fishing rod with a magnet on the end. See how many fish they can capture in a minute.

Tabletop Bowling- Line pins up at one end of a long waist high table. Have contestants stand at the opposite end and bowl to see how many pins they knock over.

Bean Bag Toss- Create a wooden box with a hole the size of a coffee can or use a Baggo board. Have the contestants stand t one end and see how many bean bags they can get into the hole in a minute or two.

Besides the games that have winning tickets, it is good to have some activities for those that do not wish to compete. Have a face painting station, a dress up area where they can get their picture taken in funny clothes, have a clown to make balloon animals, or even rent a card reader for the party.

Prizes/Party Favors; Prizes should reflect the age range of the guests. Stuffed animals and small toys like finger traps, match box cars, bouncy balls, or a slinky are great for kids. Also give them all party favors like a balloon or a bag of carnival candy. For adults, the prizes should be on their level like a restaurant gift card, scented candles, a bottle of wine or liquor, specialty coffee or coffee mugs, picture frames, a board game, or anything they would find useful but still fits in your budget. The dollar store is a great place to find prizes.

Food and Drinks; Think of the great food smells when you walk into a carnival. It helps create the mood. Now, these are not going to be the healthiest foods for a party but it’s your one night to let go of the diet and join in on the fun!

Ideas include:

Cotton Candy- use store bought cotton candy or rent a cotton candy machine

Snow Cones- rent a snow cone machine or replace the idea with popsicles or push up pops

Popcorn- get a popcorn machine or buy bags of popcorn

Hot Dogs- use a grill or special hot dog equipment like a roller machine to get the real carnival dog taste

Soft Pretzels- order a tray of mini pretzels from your local soft pretzel franchise

Caramel Apples- purchase beforehand or have it be part of the activities so guests make their own

French Fries- buy restaurant style fries and keep them crispy under a warming tray

Lemonade- buy cartons of lemonade or have a fresh squeezed lemonade maker

Iced Tea- buy cartons of iced tea of use a big clear container with a spigot like you see at the carnivals

To add an additional carnival feel to the food and drinks purchase carnival style paper products like red and white popcorn boxes, decorated fry tubs, white hot dog doilies, cotton candy sticks, snow cone holders, and plastic cups, lids, and straws for refreshments.

To create a true carnival feel, consider purchasing concession stand equipment and accessories. If your organization or your family plan on throwing carnival parties in the future the investment is well worth it.
